Frocester Festival... Music, Drinks, Food, Cricket, Fun!
The perfect 'Festival in a Day' – Saturday 27th August 2022
Welcome to Frocester Festival!
We used to be known as Frocester Beer Festival, but after all the disruption caused by Covid over the last 2 years, we have 're-imagined' our festival to make it a bit more focused and varied.
We are also now packing everything into one day – Saturday 27th August 2022, from 11am to 11pm – and we've added some fabulous family entertainment during the day, with a game of cricket being played right in front of the pavilion for everyone to enjoy, alongside the usual excellent live music and wide choice of beer, cider, wine, spirits, food and other entertainment that we're renowned for.
We've been going for more than 40 years!
Frocester Festival is proud to be one of the area’s most recognised beer and music festivals, and we often attracted over 3,000 visitors annually, from near and far.
Established in 1979, the festival is organised and run solely by volunteers and friends from Frocester Cricket Club. Funds raised are used by the club for a diverse range of projects which benefit members in so many ways, so thank you for your continued support.
We welcome you to enjoy great beer, cider, wine, fizz and spirits, together with fantastic food and a diverse and high quality range of live music.
As usual, we’ll have a super music line up with brilliant headliners on Saturday night who will really get you singing along! Plus all our live music acts are local again – so come along and support your local musicians. You’ll be really impressed with how good they are!
As always, we’ll be offering a huge range of different beers and ciders. In addition, back by popular demand, we’ve also got our Pimms and Prosecco bars again, as well as a Gin Bar, so you definitely won't go thirsty!
To complement all these lovely drinks, we’ve also got our usual choice of fantastic food, including pizzas, curries, burgers and hot dogs, as well as our famous hog roast pork rolls.
For families, we’ve got face painting for the kids (although adult visitors are welcome to get their faces painted too!), soft drinks and snacks. Note: It's also FREE admission for all Under 18s!
However, please note that Under 18s will only be admitted when accompanied by an adult, and must be clear of the festival site by 6.30pm in the evening.
How To Find Us
Frocester Festival is held in the grounds of Frocester Cricket Club.
Please ensure you only use the designated parking and Drop-Off/Pick-Up Point.
Also, please note that the Drop-Off/Pick-Up Point is for pre-booked taxis only.
It is not a taxi rank, so taxis will not be waiting there for you unless you've pre-booked them!
N.B.- The car park is accessed via Peter's Street.
It is no longer in the field opposite the festival site, off Frocester Hill.
Tickets for the Frocester Festival always sell-out fast!
This year will be no exception, so please keep an eye on our social media for announcements about when they go on sale.
Thank You Dear Sponsors!
There are many unpaid volunteers who give up their time freely for the festival, but we really couldn't get to where we are today without our fantastic sponsorship partners.
As always, a festival like ours couldn't operate without the support of corporate sponsors, so a big thank you to all our sponsors…
We are always on the look-out for more partners, big or small, and we believe that you should decide where your money goes. So, if you want to donate £250 to put up a banner, or if you simply want to give £50 to have your name over a barrel, we would love to hear from you! Remember, no amount of contribution is too big or too small.
Get in touch with us using the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Also, if you wish to volunteer at the festival, we never turn anyone away! Give us a call. We’d love to hear from you!
